I had a great experience at Hotel Obana in Nara, thanks to its fantastic location and welcoming staff. The room was cozy and clean, although a bit small, which is pretty typical for Japan. The breakfast was a delicious mix of both Japanese and Western options, but I did have to pay extra for it. Overall, it was a sweet stay, but there were some minor issues like the thin toilet paper and daily towel changes that felt a bit unnecessary.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Obana in Nara. The hospitality was great, and the location couldn't be better. right next to Sarusawa Pond and near Kōfukuji Temple. My room was not only spotlessly clean but also offered a stunning view. Though the decor felt a bit outdated, the lovely touches, like the origami charm at checkout, made up for it. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience.
